Description of the medieval church building and the church fittings
Nikolaus Pevsner, North East Norfolk and Norwich (Buildings of England series)
A description of works to restore the tower and bells can be found on the Towers and Bells page.
Details of the moveable furniture and fittings in the church were listed in the terriers that were produced periodically (normally every seven years). Examination of terriers held in the Norfolk Record Office shows that the furniture and fittings were quite basic and that there were comparatively few changes over the years until the terrier of 1941, which recorded the results of the efforts of Rev. William Charles Hall from 1933 onwards to acquire considerably more objects for the church.
In 1991, his son Bryan Hall made handwritten notes about these acquisitions and a copy of these is held in the church. A transcript of Bryan Hall’s notes is also available.
