The small chapel was first built in 1845 near the centre of the village. It was rebuilt in 1914. There is seating for 60 people. A history of the chapel was written in 1945 by Nancy Cook, sister of John Yaxley, based on information from 96 year old Mrs R. Canham, grandmother of John and Nancy.
