There have been Neaves in Barton Turf since at least 1818 when William Neave, son of Jacob Neave and Ann Vincent, was born. Neave families have continued in the parish through most of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and are still present in the twenty-first. Neaves have also been present in many other parishes in the area. Our research has not yet established links between all the different Neave families. The Neaves have links to the Baldwin, Drake and Yaxley families.
