The Barton Turf History Project is primarily concerned with the history of the ecclesiastical parish of Barton Turf, but there are many areas where there is an overlap with neighbouring parishes. This may be through families present in more than one parish, individuals with property interests in neighbouring parishes, estates and manors which cross parish boundaries and through membership of a united benefice.

The purpose of these pages is to highlight where such areas of overlap have been found and to provide supplementary information where this is relevant.
