Latest Updates

2.9.2010 - the Businesses and Occupations pages have been combined into the Employment page which has been developed. The Amys page has been updated.

8.8.2010 - the Amys page has been developed. Lubbock and Shepherd pages have been added.

1.8.2010 - corrections have been made to the information about Thomas Amys based on a contribution from a descendant.

26.7.2010 - a Platford page has been created within the People pages.

24.7.2010 - the Rood Screen page has been developed.

18.7.2010 - details of the Welcome page pictures have been added to the Welcome Gallery.

1.7.2010 - the Coal Merchants page has been developed and the Francis and Norris pages have been further developed.

24.6.2010 - development of the Occupations page has been started. A summary of available maps has been added. The Doyley and Francis pages have been developed.

18.6.2010 - various new People pages have been created, but not yet developed. The Salmon(s), Salmon-Cox and Tithe Apportionment pages have been developed.

14.6.2010 - relevant dates have been added to the titles of the People pages. The Employment pages have been restructured into Businesses and Occupations sections. The Farming page has been renamed Land Use and the structure reorganised.

13.6.2010 - the Monuments and Memorials page has been updated and newer versions of the monumental records documents included.

11.6.2010 - the Barton Hall page has been updated, additional material has been added to the About the Project page and new Hall Farms, Visiting Barton Turf  and Welcome Gallery pages have been created.

23.5.2010 - the School page has been developed further.

11.5.2010 - the Barton Hall page has been developed and small additions have been made to other pages.

14.4.2010 - further information from another Cox descendant has led to a further update of the Cox families entry.  The School page has been developed.

10.3.2010 - as a result of information received from a descendant of James Cox it has been possible to update the entry about Cox families and link together the different branches.

2.1.2010 - the Welcome page has been revamped and an About the Project page added.

27.12.2009 - some of the People pages have been developed.

16.12.2009 - the Staithes page has been developed.

14.12.2009 - the Black Shed page has been developed and more People pages have been added.

13.12.2009 - more additions have been made to the Buildings pages and a Staithes page has been started.

12.12.2009 - updated versions of the monumental records documents are now available.

11.12.2009 - a start has been made on adding People pages. Some additions have been made to the Buildings pages.

31.8.2009 - the Help! page has another request for information.

27.8.2009 - a start has been made at adding house owners and occupiers information to the Buildings pages. So far only Barton Berry Hall and Home Farm have information listed.

25.8.2009 - the Norfolk Transcription Archive has been added to the People and Genealogy sub-page.

23.8.2009 - an updated version of the monumental records details document has been included.
