Latest Updates

27.1.2012 - the Barton Broad Photographs and Online Resources General pages have been updated. The Wills and Probates page has been made into a sub-page of the People page.  A Barton Broad Paintings page has been added.

26.1.2012 - all the links within the web-site have been checked and updated where necessary and a summary file produced.  The Barton Broad Photographs page has been updated to include a link to Broadland Memories Blog.  The About the Project, Buildings, Haylett, Manors, Maps, Mill Dyke Drainage Mill, News, Published Material - Other Material and School pages have been updated.  The Events and Visiting Barton Turf pages and Maps sub-pages have been removed.

24.11.2011 - the Edrich and Wills and Probates pages have been updated.

13.11.2011- the Family Search section of the People and Genealogy page has been extended.

1.11.2011 - a Neighbouring Parishes page and some sub-pages have been added but only the Irstead page has any content so far.

14.9.2011 - the Maps page has been updated and the PDF summary now contains links to sources. An Edrich page has been added to the People pages.  The News page has been updated.

31.8.2011 - the News, School  and Blake pages has been updated.

27.8.2011 - the People and Genealogy page has been updated with the addition of Family History Archives.

1.8.2011 - the News and John Gunn pages have been updated.  The transcript of baptism records has been extended.

1.7.2011 - the News, Memories and Hewitt pages have been updated.  The Parish Church Records page has been developed and a transcript of baptism records has been included.

25.2.2011 - a Memories page has been added. The Mill Dyke Drainage Mill page has been updated. The Francis page has been corrected.

1.2.2011 - the Preston page has been updated. A Reid page has been added to the People pages. Andrew Cok, Thomas Cooke, John Idewyn, Thomas Lushington and Charles Preston have been added to the Past Incumbents pages. The London Gazette has been added to the Online Resources pages.

22.1.2011 - the monumental records documents have been extended to include burial register entries from 1750.

15.1.2011 - the Help! Page has been replaced by a News page. A Mill Dyke Drainage Mill page has been added and developed.

8.1.2011 - minor changes have been made to some of the People pages, the Preston page has been updated and a new Poole page has been added and developed.

6.1.2011 - the BTHP Blogg has been deleted as it has not been used.  You can still contact the project team by email.
